I came across Chacha - a new interactive search engine. There are 2 types of search, the conventional one and a session with a guide.

I tried both these searches. The session with the guide was interesting. Instead of searching directly, you shoot your questions to the guide and he/she will pull out the results and show it to you. Its actually nice to know that a real human being is chatting with you. They ask for your feedback on the results as well. Any mistakes in the search results are immediately taken care of and they update the search results accordingly.

This concept is similar to MSN’s MsDewey search engine I had mentioned earlier. The difference is here you do not see the guide’s face.

Overall, nice little concept. I liked it.

Update: Chacha raises $6 million
