Cool Firefox Extension: DownThemAll
Today morning i was collecting all images related to chicago autoshow. (wanted to put up an image gallery). Autoblog came very close to having covered most of the show happenings. I decided to download all the images but there were around 300 of them. Rightclick+save would work but that is the most inefficient way to do it. Vinodhvv saved me by introducing this cool firefox extension called DownThemAll. This gets installed into your firefox in a flick and helps you downloadthemall, literally. I got what i wanted in less than a minute.
Cool browser. Cool extensions.

i like this extension. it does just about everything one could want. it is missing the ability to drill down to sub directories within ftp sites. that would make it very useful.
i have been having a problem with it. dta, or downthemall
down them all doesn’t let you start a list of downloads that never started. if something makes the list of downloads stop, or if it doesn’t start for whatever reason, there doesn’t seem to be an option for making them start. resume download does not work for these files.
any help appeciated
