Why SSO?
Before we get into ‘what is SSO’, let us understand ‘Why SSO?’.When Zoho was initially launched, people registered themselves with different usernames and passwords for each services. Soon users felt there need to be a unified login system so that one unique username and password can let them access all Zoho services. That is when, SSO - Single Sign on was introduced.
What is SSO?
SSO is an enhancement to improve login sessions. Once you log into any zoho service, you can simultaneously access other Zoho services without logging in again and again. In other words, one username /password will let you access all Zoho Services.
Does Zoho CRM support SSO now?
Yes, Zoho CRM supports SSO now. Earlier a username/passoword which was used to access other Zoho services could not be used to access Zoho CRM. But now, being SSO enabled, Zoho CRM is accessible with the same username and password that is used to access other Zoho Services.
