Zoho People - Make up
Sometimes when I get some free time, I do UI make-up for fun. Today when I was searching for Shanky’s desknumber in Zoho People, I thot why not try a make-up for Zoho People. The result? Take a look below.

The design may contain non-zoho elements like Textures on top, and most importantly, the font - ARIAL. I use Arial a lot, my personal favorite. Unlike Verdana, arial takes up less space on the screen and helps me to pack more text into a given space.
The design shows my view of how the “Self-Service” page in current Zoho people could be updated. No drastic changes. Just adding some whitespace, and BOXing the information. Also I used categorization of the left side links. Zoho CRM’s upcoming SETUP contains this style of categorization and during evaluation with some clients, it scored good reviews. The top right green shows - Where in the world is the employee right now?. Suppose if a company has multiple offices, then the attendance system can be hooked to Zoho People and whenever an employee signs in for that day, the status could be shown as shown.
