Bharatgas - New LPG Gas Connection procedure
Lately, Bharatgas - Consumer LPG Gas supplier of BPCL have launched a scheme to offer new LPG gas connections to households. As per this scheme, a consumer can buy a new connection on-spot by paying Rs.3860. The consumer will get a activated connection, pass-book, rubber tube, Regulator and a 2 Burner Gas stove. Cost of Cylinder extra.
To buy a connection under this scheme, you need to produce a Address proof and ID proof.
Address Proofs :
- BSNL Telephone Bill
- Ration Card
- Any Nationalized Bank’s Passbook
- Letter from your HR (if you are new to locality / got transferred from another city etc)
- Electricity Bill, Water Tax Receipt
ID Proofs:
- Ration Card
- PAN Card
- Govt Issued ID Card in case of Govt Employees
Pre-Requisites:
- You must not have any other existing Gas connection in your name
- You must not have any existing private gas Connection in your address
The cost of the connection I mentioned above may vary from dealer to dealer. Because the cost includes the additional item such as 2-Burner Cooking stove, or 3-Burner Cooking Stove or Mixie or Table Top Grinder or any other appliances, that are supplied by BP from time to time. As far I enquired, a new connection with 3 Burner stove option costs Rs.5500-5900. And a Table-top grinder option costs upto Rs.6800. Check with your area’s gas agency to find their options and availability.
